2-30 minute treadmill sessions today; add in 20 mins on weights, and 10 mins on strictly core...I'm going to be ready for Florida May 15th!

I just realized that May 18th marks the 1 year mark since I started working out. I found my before pictures; but refuse to post them until I can post my 8-pack (yes I have 8)...or until I actually hit the 1 year mark, which ever happens first. At this rate, the 1 year mark. Lol.

I swam today, and boy I sucked. Still got a 1,000 yds in but I wasn't hitting my turns and the Y pool was warmer than usual

Just completed the Tony Horton 10 minute trainer challenge. 30 days on the program went from

229 down to 209

Waist 38 to a 36

Arms gained 3/4 of an inch on each side

Lost 2 inches off each leg

Really satisfied with my results. Next stop back to my MMA work out. Need to lose 19 pounds by May 18th. That will mark my 1 year mark of working out, and I'll also be arriving in Florida that day.

Really can't wait to show off the beach body.

Nothing worse than a warm pool when trying to work out. I used to like my Y pool around 72ish. But yeah it's tough to work out at anything above 77, or atleast thats what I feel.

Yeah, I just felt like shit and there were a lot of kids in the pool creating waves. I was going to run, but it was pretty windy out in Albany today.

Well I guess i can tell you guys what I used to weigh now, I wont be as humiliated. I was up to about 290ish pounds. I graduated high school around 190 at 12% body fat. Graduated college at about 215 at about 16% body fat (drinkin killed me) then shot up to 290 after graduating, eating out a ton, drinking a ton, lack of sleep, and lack of physical activity.

Spent the last year making over my whole person. Not only body, but attitude and personality as well.

Strapped on the gloves again today...for the first time in since I came to UB.

It just felt right, and god damn, without doing any training, but just lifting, and running, I've gotten so much faster, stronger, and flexible. I LOVE IT.

Poor bag took a real beating...I want to get a 150 pound dead bag (no chains, not hung) and work on my throws, and ground game a bit. not that I plan on fighting at all; but if I could look and condition like a fighter, that'd be just fine by me.

I need a way to gain like 30 pounds so I could be a bit physical when I start to play hockey.

Because being 6'1 and 150 won't last long in hockey, especially if I get checked.

Lost 12 pounds this week! Down to 218 from 230. First week of my diet/workout so I'm not expecting the same level of results over this next week. I'm aiming for about 5 pounds which I think is doable for sure. This week I just felt suddenly motivated and man has it payed off already. I've been walking on an incline of 8 at speeds between 3.5-4 on the treadmill for about an hour a day more or less depending how I'm feeling. The first few days I tried running but I was only able to get about a half an hour in before I was exhausted. That plus the fact that I've been getting sick and not been able to breathe too deep without wheezing cause me to try walking on an incline instead. It's been sooo much better!! That plus I'm just being smart about what I eat. I've found the dieting part surprisingly easy. Here's to getting fit!!
