Here it is everyone, game 82. Not many would have predicted that the last game vs NJ would be for the second seed, but it is. A regulation win and the 2nd seed is ours.
In the last Game
Buffalo - Buffalo went in to Ottawa losers of their last 9 against them. In a game full of emotion for Ottawa and Alfie it was great to see our boys come out and hand them a nice 5-2 loss. Thomas Vanek scored 4 goals in his return and Derek Roy scored the other goal and added two helpers. Ryan Miller made 28 saves while picking up win 41 on the season. Drew Stafford left the game with concussion syptoms after taking a great body check by Andy Sutton.
NJ - New Jersey annihilated the Isles 7-1 in their meeting saturday night. Six different players scored goals in the game. Elias was the lone multi goal scorer. With all lines firing New Jersey is looking good heading into the second season. If New Jersey loses they will not play Philadelphia(New Jersey's Ottawa) in the playoffs who have had their number. The fans over at HF would love a NJ loss to avoid the Flyers.

While this is a big game to see where both teams will finish I'm not sure how much fight their will be in tonights game. With both teams playing Saturday night we could see back-ups(I think Lindy said Miller would start but I dont know) and from reading the NJ boards I assumed Danis would start but I have no clue.

Lets finish this season out in style with a dubya in regulation to secure us home ice through two rounds(If we make it past round one). Let's GO BUFFALO.

Flyers/Rangers in a season ending/playoff spot game.. They have worked hard all year and it comes down to 60 min.. Awesome!! I think this game should have it's own GDT..

Sabres/NJ battling for home ice advantage in the 2nd round of the playoffs and a likely 2nd round matchup.. Another hard fought game.. Vanek 4 more please?

Yeah thats what I figured was Lalime was gonna start but when I listened to the post game it sounded like Lindy said Miller was gonna start. I was gonna do a whole back-up vs back-up thing for my first GDT but I couldn't find any confirmation anywhere.
