...you know, not to sound like the proverbial "reformed whore", but I'm finding that I'm just not enjoying drinking as much as I used to enjoy drinking...

I've gotten tired of banging my head against the wall; knowing that I'm poisoning myself, profoundly, but continuing to do it because it used to be what I did best.

Speed-drinking, pounding large volumes, partying 'til you puke, drinking to get falling-down drunk...I just don't need the trophies of machismo, anymore.

I don't know - I can still fall into a bottomless glass of something, when I'm feeling the need to punish myself...but, it ain't the same, no more.

There are no surprises - no shiny, new revelations or world-rocking epiphanies - left for me to uncover with the sacrament of methanol.

Blasphemy? Perhaps (especially from an ex-Canuck..) but it's become so predictable and ultimately physically and financially taxing; and avoidable.

I had a teacher talking about pizza logs the other day. He said he invented them but didn't feel like going through the patent process.

i miss them so much. I mean with other foods I was lucky enough to have a good friend of the family who runs a pizza, wing and sub shop give me recipes for steak and cheese subs and wings but pizza logs are pre made...I am missing them big time. I mostly miss being able to pick up the phone and have huge orders of great food withing the hour. I'm limited to crappy chain pizza and forget about wings....they all sucks out here
