Well for me in depends on the rivalries.

For the Sabres, I really can't stand the Flyers. Mainly due to Eric Lindros, the playoff wars we've had with them...and right when that hatered was tapering off BAM they get Daniel Briere. Divisional teams, meh, there's always a dislike there for sure. The Rangers just annoy me with their free spending ways...and I don't like the Hurricanes only because of their fans.

im torn on Pittsburgh and its pisses me off.

i like the team, i was born in Pittsburgh. I want them to do well. but i cant stand Sid. He annoys to no end. This makes my opinion of the Pens difficult...damn.

I hate their money. The fact they can buy a world series ring (well, it's not working too well now but they still have moles of money) just turns me off. I have a love hate with baseball money also. all the good players seem to gravitate to the rich teams and it makes teams like the Brewers and Rays suck for 90% of their lives.

Most Yankee hatred is essentially jealousy. As stated above above, every other fan wishes they had a team with the resources and an owner with the willingness to invest back into the team.

For the most part, I hate players more than teams, and pick team hatred based on players. I feel that the guys wearing the jersey make the team, not the jersey shielding or making the players. That said:

NBA- Lakers...one reason, Kobe.
MLB- Red Sox. Biggest hypocrite fans in the free world. I also think Ortiz is, and always has been brutally overrated. Play the field fatty. Mets, for Willie Randolph.
NFL- Bills. Yup, flame away. Most ignorant fans as a whole in sports. TO only helps. Raiders, I take back what I said about the Bills fans. Giants, because I HATE Eli Manning after what he pulled on draft day on the Chargers. Colts, because I have extended into Manning family hatred. Lions, for taking Barry Sanders away from us before I was ready, though softening on them after what they have been through.
NHL- Pens, because I hate Cindy. Stars, I think we all know why. San Jose, which is a shame, but they have Heatley.
NCAA B-Ball- Duke. Duke. Duke. Dates all the way back to Christian Laettner.
NCAA Football- Notre Dame, because they are allowed to make their own rules. Miami/Florida/Florida State. Each have a long line of dirt bags.

Yes and no. the money part sucks, but its the fans really. every yankee who does something special is the BEST OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yankee fans feel entitled to remind you of the success the team has had. and thats obnoxious.

NHL least favorite team, I'd have to say a draw between the Hurricanes & the Coyotes. They have no real fan base, can anybody tell me the people who go to their games even like hockey?

I hate the entire NBA. A bunch of over paid people who where blessed with height and some skill.

NFL, Patriots, they cheated got caught and should of been forced to forfeit the entire season.

My bad, knew it was somewhere between 92 and 94.

They found one tape, yea but how many tapes did they have? they surely had more than one because people came out and said they were doing it for years those are the facts.

The Patriots cheated, got lucky and didn't have to forfeit, but they ultimately are the laughing stock of the NFL after that disappointment of a season anyways. Everyone will remember the 18-1 Patriots as the team that could not win the game that most mattered.

Who cares about what they won before, they went 18-1, the other 18-1 teams actually won the Superbowl.

I would of said that had it been any team, yes even the Bills. If you're caught cheating on a test in school you fail. Sure you get to take another test with different answers and questions, but you still have a failing grade.
It's like the player who take HGH or any other illegal drugs, they should be thrown out of their respected game for life. But that's just my opinion.

I much prefer to get behind a team I like and focus on that, than to hate other franchises.
