Some of there songs are not bad but some like the one in the video is kind of weird.

How is it weird? Better days is a classic.

I always thought Metallica at their best were just really annoying.

My two tolerable Metallica songs: Whiskey In the Jar, and Enter Sandman.

Goo Goo Dolls, easy to listen to... but Better Days is a poor choice for a pump up playoff song.

Metallica One is awesome and Dyer's eve is pretty good.

Okay, I agree, Enter Sandman is pretty solid. I like better days because it perfectly encapsulates the Buffalo community in my opinion, and the line

"tonight's the night the world begins again."

Come on, what better shows how Buffalo feels about hockey?

Whiskey in the Jar was a cover, so you only have one tolerable Metallica song then.

I like all Metallica though.

OK, the best Metallica is definitely their technical and incredibly passionate first four records: Kill 'Em All, Master of Puppets, Ride The Lightning, and ...And Justice For All. The Black Album and both Load and Reload are good, but nothing compared to their first four albums.

Have a listen to Creeping Death or One and then tell me Enter Sandman is better.

/rant

(Also, Whiskey In The Jar is such a great song, by anyone who performs it. I like the Thin Lizzy and Dubliners versions best)

the goo goo dolls are a perfectly acceptable band to listen to if you are a 12 year old girl.

I didn't know The Goo Goo Dolls were such a divisive topic. Some people here like to exaggerate a bit too much.

I'm neutral toward the Goo Goo Dolls. Not a good choice for a playoff pump up song. Hells Bells is just fine with me. It sends shivers up my spine every time I see the new video. "Gonna Be A Blackout Tonight" by Dropkick Murphy's would be pretty sick too.

I think DKM is automatically blacklisted anywhere but Boston due to their overwhelming hometown hard-on for Beantown.

I would love to see one of Buffalo's harder rockers (Cannibal Corpse, Snapcase, Every Time I Die, Green Jelly, Stemm) do a theme song for the team.

I don't know what I'd do if he stopped making videos. I still tear up watching the montage of OT goals/saves.

The man is the best. Cannot wait to see what a playoff montage from him will look like!
