I love Meat Loaf's female accompaniment's voice on "I'D Do Anything For Love"

The cafe thing on campus is currently playing the Columbine tribute song, "Friend of Mine" or something... I haven't heard this song in about ten years. Weirdest feeling ever upon hearing the opening chords.

Was on my way home from a figure skating lesson when the radio mentioned it. That was an interesting afternoon.

Anyone know a good means by which to hang vinyl albums up on the wall? I'm not talking just the record, I want the jacket hanging up with the records for the artwork. My only viable idea was to put screws in the wall then just rest the albums on them, but that would put a lot of holes in the wall, and I'll be moving out soon, so I don't want to do that.

So do I...she was fantastic. I believe Patti Russo sang it when they went on tour...and with all respect to her, as she has been great for many years, they really found a gem for the studio version.

Looks like I'll be living in an apartment next year, about half a mile off campus. Yesss.

Downside: sharing it with three other girls. I am so tired of living with girls. My friend was like, "The grass is always greener on the other side!" but I come from the other side with four brothers, no sisters, and predominately male cousins... I'll be living at home free of charge for a little bit after graduation to pay off the bulk of loans first as consolation for the fact that parents aren't paying any of my tuition when they promised they would before I went to school, which was a factor in the college I chose (I find it silly when members of generations older than mine have issues with that; your generation's college tuition was ridiculously cheap even taking inflation into account), but I think when I move out for good I'll try to persuade my brother to be my roommate, since by then he'll be graduated and he's attending an inexpensive college. I don't think it will take any persuasion at all.

I grew up with two sisters and all female cousins until I was about 16 and finally another guy was born. That said, I'd never want to live with a group of girls...or guys...or family members.

There is absolutely nothing worse in life than having to get up in the morning for school, especially after working a weekend of overnight shifts. Its far too early for rational thought, let alone learning, taking tests, and writing essays. Oh and screw this quiz I have in Chinese today too.

I thought March Madness was over?!?!?! Driving to work this morning and guess who is on Mike and Mike in the Morning's radio show? Duke Vitale, my arch nemesis. If I have to hear that annoying, old, bald bastard slurp spit back into his mouth while babbling on about "college bazgabaw" one more freakin time I might run someone off the road and into a Jersey barrier.....

Is it bad that every time my roommate opens his mouth, I want to shove my fist in it?

I remember my freshman year me and my roommate got along perfectly. We didn't hang out and didn't really talk much but were both quiet and respectful.

I have never gotten along with roommates. I'm a pretty solitary person. I wonder how I would do with a housemate where we would each have our own rooms at least. I have a tendency to disappear into my room and never be seen, haha.

I wouldnt have a problem with my roommate if he didn't cop out behind the "I'm not American, I dont understand your customs" excuse everytime I tell him to do something around the apartment. I lived with 3 Europeans for 2 years while I was at Fredonia. I know foreigners, granted Koreans aren't european, but that's no excuse to be a lazy piece of shit, and not clean up after yourself.

Also the whole shouting on the phone thing at 3,4,5 am is getting old really quickly. So much so that I'm contemplating smashing his phone next time he leaves it out in the commons room while he's in class

Yeah my senior year we hosted an exchange student (lived in the other bedroom with our third guy) both semesters (coincidently both named David).

The first guy was from Barcelona, never adjusted to American time, so it could be 1am and he'd be leaving the apartment to go hang with the other exchange students. He was very social, so it wasn't a surprise to come home sometimes and find 80% of Europe represented in our living room.

They were all great aside from one instance with a french girl that was a bit too good to eat Cheese-its (lol). It was always fun having political debates and having eight different viewpoints.

Plus the guy had a good sense of humor and didn't mind behind referred to as "The mexican." The other spanish guy's name was Joan (Joe-on), and obviously became Joan of Mexico. Great people.

And the guy used this as his see America tour so in one semester he went to Buffalo, Toronto, NYC, Chicago, LA, and San Francisco (at least) so he could be gone for a week or two at a time.

Second guy was from Newcastle, not very sociable and generally a shut-in, but I got along good with him as well.

I was thinking today of all our sabres traditions, of which I have no shortage after placing a friendly bet with a coworker on the outcome of the boston series. And I thought, damn, there goes my insistence that you never gamble on your team. (Though $10 can hardly be described as gambling).

And then I thought, how well has that superstition worked out for me so far? Oh...right.

So let's get a giant imaginary trash bin and throw all of our superstitions in it because to this day they have brought us precisely dick. Let's go win the old fashioned way. Deafening home crowds and determination.

I believe Rick. I believe.

You know how they say when you pick on a girl when your a child, you really like her? Well, for some reason, everytime I turn on Olberman, the dude is ripping Sarah Palin. Yeah dude, we get it, shes a fucking moron.......and? Oh wait, you hate Bill O'Reilly? Whoa, HELLO!!!!!!!! fuckin newsflash.

This guy is gonna wake up one day about five years from now and go "Jesus, I just literally wasted the last five years of my life calling a retard a retard and jackass a jackass.....what a waste"

I hate almost all of these arrogant, smug, loudmouth, prick-bastard talking heads on TV. But Olbermann tops them all for some reason, he just grates the shit outta me.........nails on a chalkboard. I love his constant attempts to play the "average American role." You grew up in fuckin Westchester, went to an Ivy Prep School and attended Cornell. You've never had a goddamn real job in your life and you were born with a silver spoon too you hypocritical dirtbag.

/Rant Over

P.S. This wasn't a liberal bashing or political statement. I just hate Keith Olbermann, so please, don't attempt to dissect this post as if its my poli sci doctoral dissertation
