My company just had a company-wide conference call, and we were told that there would be effective immediately a 10% across the board salary cut. Also, my daughter has a fever of 103.8 and is being tested for strep and swine flu as we speak. I'm feeling like shit myself, and am wondering which of these miserable options I'm carrying.

Thanks, Irony. Yeah, no layoffs, and I just found out that she does not have Swine Flu, thank GOD. No strep, either. It's either just a viral infection of some kind or a case of mono, which they can't test until she has two more days of fever.
