Bruins are without Savard and the Sabres SHOULD be able to still succeed without Vanek.

But I don't think losing Vanek is exactly why we lost. Why did Kaleta stop hitting? Why couldn't connolly hit anybody with a pass?

It was more like perfectly lucky bounces off Bruin's sticks to the open guy.

Two of their goals came on a Bruin player passing to one guy, but it bounced off their stick to the open guy for a goal.

Also the goal that jump in the air was more luck then anything. And Chara's second goal bounced off of Pominville's stick or it most likely would have been stopped. The Bruins only scored on fluke bounces and luckiness mostly.

But every series that has two games played is tied at 1-1 now. The main part was they took the gas off in the second once again, yet came with a lead. Losing Vanek hurt us since we only then had one good enough line to score, yes the fourth line was amazing but I wasn't expecting them to score again.

Yep...another disappointing 2nd period, and even though we HAD an undefeated record when leading going into the third, that doesn't mean you can just coast your way to a win. Whatever.

No offense, but the arena ushers don't know diddly.

That being said, that did look like a bad one, ACL/MCL possibly. Not promising at all.

Also remember, this is only game two, it's not over until a team wins 3 more games.

Quit jumping off them after ONE single loss in a playoff round. Don't expect us to win 4 straight games.

The fact that the Bruins got lucky wasn't why the Sabres lost; the fact that they sat back, let the Bruins get lucky and then didn't respond until they had a knife to their throats was why they lost. They put in a full sixty minutes but just come short due to a few bad bounces, then fine. They coast through half the game, have some bounces against and lose, I'm still pissed.

Sitting back with a two goal lead is fine in, say, April when you've got a playoff spot locked up. Sitting back with a two goal lead does not fly once the playoffs start.

We lost because we were making half ass passes that turned into turnovers. The last 2 goals were off turnover, even if they were lucky bounces into the net.

Unfucking believable god I hate the Bruins just like I did when I use to live in Buffalo. I just pray that Vanek isn't out longterm because it didn't look good him heading back to the bench.

We'll see this as a character building loss if they stay on point and finish it up the next time around.

That being said, I'm glad the streak is over so that it can stop being talked about like it's an automatic.
