Worst time to start losing games when leading after 2 periods.

The only part that really pissed me off about this game is when Connolly had the puck right in front with no defense and tried to pass it and the pass failed. I was pissed! Best scoring chance of the game, and we don't even get a shot. Also this is the only game where Miller really looked kind of bad that I can remember. Not really that bad....but not his usual stealing games self.

I think the better team won the game. Not the better team overall, but the better team on the ice Saturday afternoon. The Sabres seem to disappear in the third period and Ryan Miller was merely human.

Buffalo played a terrific first period and Matt Ellis' goal was an amazing team effort, from winning of the face-off in our own zone, through the six passes, until it ended up in the back of the net with a pinpoint perfect shot.

Too bad it was all for naught.

The Bruins are for real and, as so many people have pointed out, the regular season record and seedings don't mean anything in the playoffs. They now have home ice advantage. The good news for us is that home ice hasn't meant a whole lot for Boston this year (they have a losing record at home and have actually played better on the road). In game two Buffalo was fairly even with the Bruins in SOG and face-off wins (two areas we don't often excel at). Also, the Sabres have shown that they can match the Bruins, hit for hit.

That is something to build upon.

I expect to see an angrier, more motivated team take the ice Monday. I don't like to make predictions, but I would not be surprised if the Sabres blow the Bruins right out of their own barn in a lopsided game three.

I saw lousey team defense 2nd and 3rd periods, too many odd man rushes including a 4 on 2 for one of the goals. When they decide to play Lindy's defense they look as good as the Devils. Yeah--Boson was the better team Sat.

I've heard a lot of people claiming that Bostons fourth and game winning goal was a result of a hand pass and should not have been allowed. I haven't rewatched the highlights so I dunno if it's true or not. Did any of you guys see it?

Just watched it back on the dvr and the 4th goal was a direct result of a hand pass, sucks but what are you ganna do... we should be used to this shit by now.

Sabres lost. Boston has been so dirty, they almost injured Kaleta and they showed the NHL it is okay to wind up and whack a star in the knee. That's what he gets for getting goals. Why is Boychuck not suspended?

Boston is a horrible team and their fans SUCK. They are as bad as Montreal in terms of fans, they are dirtier than Montreal, and they complain about the refs like Montreal.

Boston took advantage of the fact that the sabres where playing behind Vanek. as soon as he went down no one stepped up, and the game was lost.

Buffalo lost. They had a lead, but then a series of bone headed, selfish plays lead to their demise.

Suck it up.
Maybe if we call out the team enough, they'll have a big game. They usually win if they get called out.

Boston scored a goal off of a high-stick and a goal off of a hand-pass (the GWG), but otherwise, the Bruins were the better team that game. Well, not until Vanek left injured.

I don't think the Sabres made it overly tough on them.
