It's seems like every year were rebuilding. I'm just saying his so called core players aren't going to get us to the cup.

Remember last season when everyone hated Hecht and wished he never put on a Sabres uniform again?

Problem is everyone talks about Roy but you take him out of the lineup their goes are only playmaker besides Ennis. Anyone else notice that Ennis is the only one that can gain the zone on the powerplay. And that the Sabres Powerplay is a nonfactor and that it can't afford to be.

Roy has done dick all in this series, removing him would not hurt that much.

Wow that would be smart take Roy out and put in who?

Well if you actually watched any games this series he`s been a complete no-factor.

How can anyone forget. Hecht does alot of little things that don't show up on the score sheet. But he takes some of the worst angle shots I have ever seen.

Here's the problem Roy is a number two center playing against teams number one line most of the time. The Sabres need to get a couple of skilled forwards with some size.

Im sure having Hect, TV and a healthy Timmy would make this a bit of a diff series, but we need to play the hand we're dealt... and hopefully something will change on Wed....

I'd almost say that not having Hecht is as bad as not having Vanek. We give up our blue line way to easy without him in the lineup.

It is most certainly as bad!!! Not having him has been a HUGE issues in our own zone.... HHUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEEE!!!!

It seems so long ago. I despised his uninspired ass last year. But fuck me, do we ever need him now

That result in goals because he knows how to read a goalie's positioning.

I'm not saying he hasn't been a nonfactor but please who on Buffalo is going to create any offense with Roy out.

definitely not the current group...we still need to add some size...Kassian hopefully will help....

but there are definitely too many small/soft players on this team still...sabres should resign torres if possible

We will always be rebuilding. This is an organization that develops from within. That is the way it has always been during the Ruff/Regier administration and that is how it will continue to be. We are a small market, low budget team, so I don't think I would get my hopes up that they will ever make some blockbuster trade.

It just ain't gonna happen. We win with our home-grown guys or not, but the philosophy isn't going to change.

People please the Sabres aren't going to sign Kassian and throw him in the lineup. Keep dreaming! I would love to see Kassian as much as the rest of you but this team doesn't throw players into the fire that quickly.

Not that it would happen, or happen in time.

Just call up Mancari and sit Connolly. At least Mancari has some size and might use it.

Right now, Connolly should be playing 11 minutes and Mair playing 16.

In theory, I would love to see Kassian come up, level Bruins left and right while just being a spark plug for the team.

When I think about reality, I wouldn't want Kassian to suddenly be thrown from getting swept in the junior leagues to the NHL playoffs. That's kind of a massive transition.

We're joking...but we do need our dirty player when we play Boston to match up.

That's fine if they want to build thru the draft but then trade up and move into the top 5 and get impact players because falling in the middle doesn't get you the type of player that this team desperately needs.
