One win and it's a whole new ballgame. How come so many people think the momentum can swing one way, but it can't swing back the other?

I just think people are frustrated that this team was dominated physically and can't imagine they can defend against it.

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

With all due respect to everyone, who gives a shit. If we were built to be physical, it would be a concern. I think they need to ignore it and play our game and not the bruins.

thats the point right there CV... the Sabres need to play the Sabres game! Yes, McCormick is a good call for a 4th line, because we have a few skill players out and hurting, so we do need a physical bump if you will... but the top lines need to play their game, not the Bruins...

You really think changing out ONE GUY is gonna make a difference?

These two teams are built differently. If you want a more physical and intimidating Sabres club, it'll take a bunch of critical moves, not just the adding of another Peters after you're already down 2-1 in a playoff series.

And this will help A LOT. It will reduce the aggressiveness of the Bruins, because most likely he will get into a few scraps and maybe a fight.

But can they get 45+ minutes out of him per game?

And of course the Bruins coach, who is no shrinking violet, will probably tell his guys to take McCormick out if given the opportunity.

Does anyone in the league outside a goaltender play 45 minutes a game? ;)

That's why it was a joke!

It's a 2-1 series lead, not a 3-1 lead.

That's why I said "could be".

But ultimately my point is that it IS too late to change the core physical structure of this team---which is the very thing that has them behind in this series.

The mere presence of McCormick SHOULD give the Bruins a little pause when it comes to running Sabres with impunity.

Players like to hit. They don't like to be hit in return. If McCormick can disrupt and get them to slow down a step or two, that could be enough to open enough space for others to punch a few in.

Then again, McCormick could also flame out with a 5/10/Game in the first period too. :)

Kinda miss Peters. He would go out and at least try to blow people up.
