I'm almost expecting that.

Go out there and run 'em.
message delivered, no real harm done.
(except to an unfortunate Bruins player)

Exactly. It's only what I've been calling for since almost the start of the series.

I feel like McCormick will definitely help the team. Last night, the Sabres finally stood up for themselves after they were down 2-1 and guys like Rivet and Sekera started a few fights. You could definitely see the momentum change after that, unfortunately it was too late in the game and the Sabres were already in a hole. McCormick will add some toughness, and hopefully our tough guys got the message last night after they saw what dropping the gloves can do.

McCormick certainly isn't coming in to be our savior, but honestly I don't really think we need that. It's not like the Sabres have been god awful, these have all been tight games and the Bruins have just capitalized on their bounces and the mistakes that the Sabres have made while we haven't. It's not like the team needs to do a complete 180 in order to have a chance in this series, there just needs to be a few minor problems to fix and adjustments to make.

You know O'Reilly got lumber on that shot, and legitimately deflected it in, right?

Honestly, it's hard for me to hate on Dan Boyle - the dude is huge into death metal, it's told.

I know Ellis plays good, but I'd rather have Cowan right now.

good post MRM, its not like they need a total over haul, they could have won either game they lost... they just need a swift kick of toughness... I still believe the Sabres can take this one...
