... if we call him up and he plays a lazy, non-physical, no point game?

Season long AHLer getting his first shot with the big club in a critical playoff game?

Yeah...he's going to be lazy tonight........

As long as he doesn't get dosed with cold medicine before the game I think he'll be looking to rip someone's head off.

Will he be looking to rip someone's FACE CAGE off?

We all know who's.

Haha, I know McCormick will come out like a freight train. ;) Was just thinking how annoyed we'd be if he didn't.

Who?

I'd love to see that but would hate him to get in there, stir some stuff up and then get the boot. Not very effective from the locker room.

If you had to be worried, I think you'd be more worried about Cody coming out TOO hard, and taking a bad penalty.

I don't see him playing a passive game, not at all.

The way the reffing has been, I cant imagine what kind of death toll it would take to get a penalty.

"Two minutes for beheading!"

Some of these games across the league have been silly in how the game has been called with refs seeming to call anything worse than breaking wind and then in other series it's like fricking roller derby meets the WWF and everything is cool.

So how long before Boston accuses us of bringing up McCormick just to stir crap up? The first hit he makes, or pregame?

They can accuse all they want.

They'd be 100% right, and I'm totally OK with that.

Then the NHLPA complains because of the fact people think McCormick is nothing good but for being a dirty bastard.

I'm sure McCormcik will come out banging, however, as someone said in another thread, I'm sure the refs are aware of this move and will be watching what unfolds---so you have to be careful that McCormick isn't neutralized with a game-ending miscondct call in the first 10 minutes.

Seems the Bruins don't need much of an excuse to kick up their physical play, so WATCH OUT! I think TD Garden staff should clear the first couple rows around the ice. (and what a dumb name for an arena. Almost as bad as Jobbing.com arena. Dumb. How about Massengil Memorial Arena?)

Well, he came out like freight train, all right . . . only problem was it derailed directly into the penalty box -- which allowed the Bruins to get on the scoreboard . . .

.
