The Pirates got knocked out of the playoffs and Portland is a stone's throw away from Boston. It's standard protocol.

What Nick said. The only reason this is news now is because the Pirates made the playoffs. If they were eliminated from contention, they'd have joined the Sabres before game one.

I'd love to see Lukey Adam take some names and start hitting anyone and scoring some goals.

I'd love to see Weber in over Sekera and Butler also, he is a physical guy. Mancari in over Kennedy.

And that would be my additions, maybe Gragnani over Rivet, but I like Rivet's take no shit attitude.
