Funny you say that, 'cause everybody knows he grew up a Wings fan. He would probably love to be their guy. I wonder if he's jealous that his brother gets to wear that uniform.

If Darcy doesn't adopt a new philosophy where recruiting real veteran talent is concerned, I hope for Miller's sake he eventually DOES end up with the Wings. Maybe that's the only way to the cup.

Hate to see a supertalented guy NOT win the big prize.

They really did play a great game except when it really counted. The oh-so-dangerous 2-0 lead they lost in the first 6 minutes of the third is definitely something they have to account for.

Also, I see Boston vets making a difference in this series, where are the Sabre vets?[/quote]

There too busy picking their asses. Fuck Roy, Pominville, Connolly and Rivet :snooty:

Do we need to go on about this again?

Miller is ten times the team mate Hasek was, Miller never bails on this team like Hasek did.

Miller will not demand a trade mid contract, if he leaves it's going to be from Free Agency.

Detroit game earlier in the season had 1000+ posts in it.

This isn't the first.

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=495&start=1060

54 pages in that one.

And that game didn't go into double OT either.

That's just pure nonsense and speculation.

Miller had the opportunity to go into free agency, AND HE CHOSE TO STAY HERE. End of story. If he wanted to be in Detroit, he would BE in Detroit. He WANTED to be here.

Past that, I would like to see him win a Cup one day, even if circumstances dictated that it's not here. He's a class act.

Absolutely true.

As I was typing that post, I was thinking "No way Miller leaves this team like that"---which is ALL THE MORE why he should get the big prize!

Lindy Ruff stormed out of the post-game presser irate as fuck with the parting words, "We didn't blow it".

It's not the first time this has been brought up either, we all know Miller isn't that guy, he did choose to come back to us for 6 years.

I also hope he gets the Silver Cup. With us or without the Sabres, he deserves it for being how he is.

Listen, I know it will pain us all to admit, but Grier completely blew his defensive assignment on the GWG. Myers and Lydman were in good coverage and Grier just seemed to stand and watch as Satan received the pass and went in alone. I really wish it wasn't the one time he made an error in his coverage, but it happened.

Incorrect. Ryan has said several times that he was NOT a Wings fan growing up. Ryan had several cousins in the NHL while he was growing up, and he said he followed whatever teams they were on, as well as being a big MSU hockey fan.
