for what it's worth, I'd trade a last place finish in the olympics for a Sabres Cup..

Not trying to be a dick but at least you americans now have a development program now, I can see the US winning a lot of the tournaments that Canada has dominated.

it's sad, I go on these boards because where I'm at there are no sabres fans to bond with.

Every year it's the same result.. this year we made the playoffs so I should be happy.. but I am not.

I've been a sabre fan all my life.. why? not sure..

I remember the early exits in the 80's when we should have beaten the habs, I remember Mayday goal to finally get over that hump and win a series.

I should have saw the signs with this team this year but I was hopeful w/ Miller, and truth be told we'd have been waxxed by Pens or Caps

it's always sad when you are done, and this year is no exception..
