i want people to vent. because im going to vent.

as people know, i got a crappy job in a warehouse. theres a kid i work with. hes a nice kid, bit odd. but he pisses me off. let me explain. 1, he has a second job as a bartender, but he only works there once a week. every other night, he stays out drinking till 3 or 4. thats fine, except when he comes in at 8 hung over and complaining and not doing anything. then it pisses me off. hes constantly on his phone. i text too, but not in front of important people and every 2 minutes. today, while on the phone, he stands there watching a kid and i do a project, then proceeds to tell us we did it wrong, undoing our work. well, we did it right, so he walks off, and we need to do it. again. the way it was.

we were issued box cutters and we are supposed to wear gloves. he was given 6 pairs of gloves. he loses them and doesnt care. fine, he has his box cutter, but just decides he will use someone elses, so he leaves his in his car. so hes using mine today, which annoys the shit out of me. heres the kicker. what was he doing with my box cutter today? well, digging at his wart on his finger. pretty gross, right? i told him to keep it. it gets better though. he keeps the wart so he can finger girls. says it pleasures them better. hes not kidding. and the kicker. for one man jobs, he frequently asks for my help, pulling me away from another job because he said i was asked to help. more often then not, i get yelled at for not finishing my project, and i was never asked to help him.

I have no idea what I want to do with my life and I'm going to be a junior in college. It's chipping away at me.

Edit:
OK, that's sort of a lie. I really, really just want to have a family. But outside that, which is something that most people end up doing at some point...

contrary to my attitude on here, i avoid conflict and want everyone to like me, and i hate when people are upset at me. i mean, yeah, im an asshole in real life too, but im also quick to apologize and make up for it.

ironically, the boss is a lifetime friend, so he thinks its funny to make me look like the asshole and have me do the bitch work. and it is pretty funny.

anyways, after lunch, my buddy pulled me away from him to do other crap, so it worked out fine.

the kids a nice kid, really. he is. but he also irritates the ever loving shit out of me some days. and that stuff is pretty gross.

Well, I can appreciate the desire to be diplomatic. But when it comes to things like the tools you use to do your work, being selfish (especially with people who misuse said tools) is perfectly acceptable. If he's not going to respect your stuff he has lost the ability to borrow them. Honestly that just seems like common sense to me, so personally I dont think you'd be out of bounds taking a stance like that.

It's one thing to be an asshole, it's a whole other thing to demand the basic respect you deserve and show to other people. But thats just my two, of course the situation is more complex than is portray-able on here, i'm sure.

Make a better one.
all unmatching, weird and out of place design elements are being gradually replaced; that top background jpeg was one of them.

I'm not really venting about it, but I've noticed the "New Post" indicator buttons on the home page don't light up for me, but if I enter a sub-forum, each thread with a new post does have a working indicator button.

There is a Facebook group called "I don't care if it's 4 am, you're my best friend and ill take care of you." I shall not rant about the grammar because whatever as far as that is concerned, but I will say that I am a terrible person because I would do that for anyone, not just my friends, and I don't see my friends as being any better or any more deserving of my attention or encouragement than anyone else in the world, because they're not. I'm the same way with family. This is a vent because objectivity is a principle that is not in any way praised in this culture and is instead denigrated, and I say I am a terrible person for that reason. Lots of people are that way, and we're all considered horrible people for being the way we naturally are. I just see groups like that all the time on my feed and it's just... AAAAAHHHHH.

I get annoyed at stupid things.

Time to vent.

I shouldn't be upset that my ex-wife is still friends with my bestie. But I am. I know I can't be indignant toward him about it, because it's his life, but it still hurts. Feels like betrayal.
