I'm 230lbs, I would like to get down to 199lbs. by the end of the summer. It's pretty much all confined to my gut, so I can keep a good eye on it.

Yeah, I actually did 1750 yards today, haha. I increased, but I'm definitely feeling it. Totally gassed, so tomorrow is definitely going to be a light day.

Kinda wish I had a jammer, I'm using board shorts, and they create a lot of drag, although it's good for the arms and back, it definitely tires me out quicker.

My sets were

10 50's on the 1:30

5 100's on the 4 mins (out hard first 50, back easy the last 50)

5 50's on the 1:15

+ warm up and cool down

Not bad, not good times. Was knocking out 50 yards in about 40 seconds with that bulky drag suit on. Granted that doesn't sound hard, but I havent swam in 6 years either :lol:

That's similar to what I do and I swim with a jammer. Usually I throw in a kick set, like freestyle kick 25yd breast kick 25 yd.

My workouts are consisting of playing some scrimmage hockey basically.

Today did some 3-on-3 half ice, and that was brutal especially being sick. After like 30 minutes of that all of us sat down and took a breather, then got right back into it with 5-10 minutes rest.

Yesterday I did 10 minutes on the stairmaster, and that was my first workout in a week and a half. I've been sick, apparently with pneumonia, and laying low. After the stairmaster, I was light-headed and just walked on a treadmill for a while. This better not last long, because it sucks not being able to push your body into regular workouts.

Where I need to get to:

500 Meter Surface swim, under 11 mins (easy)

1.5M run under 10 mins (not so easy)

13 chin ups in 1 min (not so easy)

71 flutter kicks in 2 mins (not so easy)

71 push ups in 2 mins (moderately easy)

71 sit ups in 2 mins (easy)

Right now I can swim the 500M in about 8:45, run the 1.5M in 13:00, 65 push ups in 2 mins, 82 sit ups in 2 mins, 3 chin ups in a min, and I'm at about 48 flutter kicks

I want to be in shape to do USAF Special Ops training by end of summer, and thats the Physical Ability test right there.

P90X starting May 26th when I get back from Florida

I've now lost 20 pounds in 3 weeks. This last week I only lost 3 total so I'm starting to get past the initial loss and into a more normal weight loss which is kind of sad but you I have to accept it and just keep going.

Lately I've been trying running again because I've found I have soooo much more energy just from 20 pounds down. It's amazing

I played basketball the other day too and it was the best night of basketball I've had in a long time.

I'm so happy I finally made the decision to just be healthy. I'm so much happier already and I just feel great.

Alright, so I'm starting Shawn T's INSANITY work out starting Monday.

Right now I'm 202lbs. I gained a little happy weight while in Florida, and since I've been back. So 202-180 by the end of summer, thats my goal 22 pounds, 13 weeks. I got this...whats 22 pounds after losing 88 already. Nothing! NOTHING AT ALL.

I can't wait to get gassed up and go again!

The only thing on that list I'm not sure I could do is the swim; god I'm an awful swimmer :(

As far as the chin-ups go, I can give you some advice if you want; I can do 25 dead-hang pullups. I'm not sure how long it takes me, but it's not very long (probably under a minute). I haven't trained to do them in a long time, but at one point I did 35 in a row.

But seriously, my body aches, but I can already feel myself getting stronger, and leaner. Down to 195 on the scale this morning. Goal is 14 pounds away, but I'm not concerned about the numbers anymore. It's merely seeing how far I can push myself. Maybe I see that 175 mark, maybe even 170, maybe even less. Who knows. BF % says my lean weight is 161 (muscle, bone, blood) and the fat is the other 33 pounds. (For those keeping track its like 16-17% They say 10% is cut; 8% is exceptionally cut, 5% is ungodly cut...where do I wanna get to? I dunno. But I'm freaking working my ass off again, and I love the soreness, and the sweat.
