I'm Spanish, but super pale. Probably because I inherited my mom's looks, and she's Irish. But my younger brother is really dark. One time a kid (who was black) asked him if he was half black.

 HAHAHA! When I was younger, my family used to call me either black or Indian all the time. In another couple of years it will probably start up again. After one year of actually retaining melanin or whatever I'm already darker than all the other white people I know, especially now when nobody has a tan yet.

I love genetics so much. I knew a family once with four kids where all the kids looked exactly the same, pretty much, but didn't resemble their parents AT ALL... They looked like their great-grandparents. It was so weird and awesome.

Yup. Being an accounting major, I've taken two lower level economics classes and I just had my final for my upper level yesterday. Think I'm done now. :)

I've yet to really go outside and I'm decently dark.

My forearms are tan but nothing else yet. Gotta love having Italian in me.

I'm pale as shit, and I tan horribly, too. Being Irish, German, Polish and Swedish doesn't help matters, either.

Haha, I tell my brother he's Indian all the time. It's funny because he looked like the kid in Slumdog Millionaire and I was like, "SEE!" haha.

I've got a farmers tan, but it's only because when I drive back home the sun is shining on my arms in my car.

Literally that is how my forearms are tan.

I hear ya man. Irish & Scottish bloodlines really don't allow for my skin to turn any other color than pasty white to red, then peel & then back to ghostly white. Repeat cycle. lol Folks like us almost need SPF 5000 or something.

With my family, both my parents will burn two or three times and then tan. My 18- and 16-year-old brothers (EW WHY IS HE 16 ALREADY) basically just burn. They get small tans, but nothing substantial. The ten-year-old is kinda like me, never burns (though I will get some pink on my nose the first day I really spend some time outside; it just doesn't get to the point of hurting or peeling). He doesn't retain anything through the winter, though. The eight-year-old is the same as my parents.

My parents when they were a little younger:

(I remember this; I wanted to get down because I was interrupted from playing with a tambourine and some drums.)
My mother's side of the family are the most Dutch-looking people I've ever seen hahaha.
