I wish there was some way possible to provide stats and such, but just from watching so much hockey over the years I have to vent. I'm tired enough with the officiating, so I guess I'm just finally getting tired of the offsides calls as well. Anyway, it looks like the linesmen blow it dead whenever a play looks funny. If the puck bounces or the players cross the line in some unplanned way they automatically blow it dead whether it was actually offside or not. It slows the game down and half the time it's not offside.

BTW Byfuglien just blatently pushed Loungo into the net for their 5th goal...no call. Same as usual on the officiating scene. No replay allowed, what a joke.

I saw Burrows go way offside tonight but was not called and Vancouver almost scored, officiating looks like it can't keep up with the play anymore and its getting pretty bad

I recall reading that too many men was going to be a point of emphasis in the postseason.

Seems like for MOST of the time it has been. :)

It always seems like the refs give them about a step or two leeway on offsides.
