That dad better find a little league coach that can teach him how to swing. Some of it is because he's just too little for a proper swing in some respects though.

that swing is phenomenal for someone that age. he lets go with his left arm too early, but that come with muscle added to the hips. it's a short swing rather than a long swing, which is excellent for line drives. the swing looks worse than it is because the pitches are all at nipple and neck height...and those are easy to crush until they get a little too fast.

And he steps way out after his swing, but that's probably because the bat is a sizeable percentage of his body weight.
