I just realized I made a couple typos and wanted to make the needed corrections:

Even though I still have some bitter hatred for Gomez after last years debacle with Miller, I am luvin Montreal right now. Tons of respect for Halak, Camellieri (check spelling) and Gionta. Cinderella story in the making and if they can stone Washington and Pittsburgh, I dont see Philly or Boston posing much of a problem for them. Plus, even though I'm American, when was the last time a Canadian team got hold of the cup?

Montreal needs to calm things down ASAP. Can't afford to give up any more scoring chances and have Pittsburg close the gap to one goal heading into the third.

The only guys i don't mind on the Habs are Cammalleri, Halak and Moen. Gomez can go fuck himself for all I care

Anyone think Montreal can beat either Philly and Boston?

i think they could take philly. their offense should be enough to overwhelm a second or third string goalie. beyond that, montreals defense has also shut down both Ovie and Sid/Malkin in consecutive series.

i would worry about boston solely because of Rask. i dont know if Halak can out duel him if push came to shove.

Boston has no scoring at all, I think Philly can beat the Habs

i know. thats why i said that the only thing about boston that worries me rhymes with hookah flask.

Any 3rd period predictions?

Does Pittsburgh continue with their late 2nd period momentum? They DO get a PP right off the bat. Will they score on it?

Will the Pens tie it up?

WHO wins the 3rd period?

**Just heard interesting stat:

NO TEAM has EVER recovered from a 4-goal deficit in a game 7.

YIKES!

My prediction is that Pittsburgh keeps getting powerplays until they tie it or the game ends....

...as I typed this Pitt got called for too many men, not that the refs can ignore that one very much.

I'll get specific and say Pitt gets two more powerplays before the end of the game...

...now that Montreal just scoreed it will be three powerplays.

The unwritten referee code mandates that the home team favorite with the Bettman appointed superstar gets every chance at a comeback.

Yep it always goes towards the home team in the playoffs, just look at last night's game in Vancouver. Chicago never go a pp until the third
