So what do the fans that were/are grilling Darcy and the Sabres for being small have to say about the Habs going this far?

FWIW, I don't think you can make a blanket statement either way. Every series brings different circumstances and scenarios. I don't think Montreal is very good, but they have played a very disciplined game with a goalie playing his best at the most important time of the season. This is just more proof of the mediocrity in the east, and that the playoffs are a little bit of a crapshoot.

Montreal suddenly had the best goal scorer and goalie in the playoffs. That can take you pretty far
