Without caring enough to read the article, is the summary that they want to take my 401k that I've been responsible enough to save and spread it out amongst all the schmucks who've been planning on receiving a social security check?

All the stupid or self-serving Repub or Dem ideas out there won't make a difference. In the long run the economy will collapse regardless and all of us that were responsible, saved, and prepared for retirement will be farked. I just hope that it can hang on for another 15 years so I have at least a few years to live well before the roof caves in.
