I need to learn how to drop into the butterfly position. All I do when I drop down now is sit there on my knees.

its so simple. i keep my feet wide, and point your toes out. then drop, so the pad rotates and put your knees together. i self taught, and i was told i have a beautiful butterfly.

as for the black panther shirt, i just thought it would be sweet, seeing how it was a major movement, but i dont want to think im patronizing it.

Should I have my knees pointed downward or outward by the time I'm on the ground? I physically cannot get into a position where I have both knees pointed forward while I'm on the ground.

ok, stand up, keep your feet apart, and fall to your knees without moving you feet from a spot. do this for a while, every day, several times. itll work.
