Alex, didn't you play street hockey?

I may not be a rocket scientist, but the ability to skate on ice and cement is basically the same concept, the stopping is different is about it.

basically the same, yes. but your stride length on roller blades are shorter then on ice. the stopping can actually be the same. the traditional "hockey stop" can be done on blades. i can do it as a reactionary action but not consciously

Ok, all I know is I'd kill myself on blades and not ice. I'm so used to Ice and not pavement that I know I'd try and do what I do on the ice on pavement and kill myself.

yea, you would end up eating concrete (or almost) if you tried the same stride length. its happened to me a few times. im 6'2" and have a pretty long stride on skates and if i over extend my foot slips out and it looks like i decided to take a knee while moving.

I blocked, like, half the shots the opposing team took while playing hockey earlier. My legs are going to be disgustingly bruised tomorrow.

One of the guys playing with us is on the Niagara University hockey team. He was joking that he needed to start shooting harder so I would get out of the lanes when he had the ball.

Last night I watched a documentary called "The Bridge", which is about the suicides that take place at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Not the best thing to watch right before bed.

My Super Smash Bros. Melee game data is corrupted and I can't find my Super Smash Bros. cartridge for the N64. This is the worst day ever

first game of hockey this summer was an amazing success. last year we could barely get 5 guys to commit at any given time. today we play 6 on 5 (including goalies) full court. it sucked being in goal again after like 10 months off. i had horrible crease recognition and was frequently out of position. beyond that though it worked out great.

we already have a game set for next sunday (although the time might change depending on the Blackhawks)

I'm sorry to hear that. :( I thought the documentary was well made and I found it extremely interesting, but it wasn't a good choice to watch it right before I went to bed.

I hate packing. The heat is not helping. I think I'm going to be done for the day as soon as I finish this last basket.

People are great, I love what people say over the interwebs and not to your face, because people are pussies and love to try and be douches.

Why must people be so immature and try to get involved in your life for?

Why do they care who I be around, and why must people think they know anything about me?

These picture basically what people are:

Just read it.

Everyone is hating on me for hanging out with a 14 year old girl. Wow big deal, and since they can do it anonymously also. It's the only reason anyone is saying anything about it. I have a good feeling it's only two girls, both of whom are absolute bitches now and are always causing some sort of drama.

I knew it was you as soon as I read it.

I don't really care what people think. The only ones who matter are me and her anyways, and I've said to myself the only reason I haven't asked her out is the age difference. I want to, but even still, I've thought about it so much these past few weeks and still can't even decide. And she has to know that too.

I know, it didn't bother me at all, let them say what they want and think what they want.

It was her I was more worried about since she is still going to that high school.
