well, as some of you know, i have an interest in horticulture. i like plants. they are neat to watch grow and such, and they give a room such a better feel. i have a 3 foot tall peach tree that is already producing peaches, and a 18 inch navel orange tree that has 2 small oranges on it that i picked up from a florida gas station last summer. my dad is currently in florida (bringing me back a case of yuengling too!) and he got for me a really cool tree: a coffee tree. im pretty stoked.

feel free to make fun of me for my interest in plants. but it relaxes me.

No making fun of at all. I have an interest in bonsai, and plants in general. Just turns out I'm a horrible gardener. I get the love of plants from my grandfather and mom, but I didn't inherit any of the green thumb.

None of you guys will care, but I shook Rod Brind A'mour's hand at the Iceplex in Raleigh today after skating.

His son must have been playing a game or something after the public skate session but he was there.

I just walked up to him and was like, "You're Rod Brindamour right?" Shook his hand and he said nice to meet you and I was like same. Then walked away. It was pretty cool, he's about as tall as me, but his arms were pretty huge and his nose is really and I mean REALLY fucked to hell.

Yea but in person DAMN, it's like an inch wide from where it's been broken 20 times.

I'll probably see him more often too, since I go skating up there almost every Monday.

I love them. I need to finally get into actually raising a couple. It's so calming, the shaping and trimming.

Oh, I also bought a new hockey stick today.

It's a TPS Response R1 Afinogenov Curve and 95 flex.

Russia was awesome. Also I definitely have a knack for picking up foreign guys. Twice in two visits to foreign countries that I get one that adores me for a week or whatever lol.
