Still, the deals thrown out that summer of '07 were all completely ludicrous. No way teams wish they were paying for those kind of deals right now.
The Pominville deal wasn't bad when he signed it, he came off an 80 point season, that's not bad at all.
But the deals of 07 were the worst. No way Drury makes 7 million had he been signed in 08. Gaborik makes 7 million now and who is the whole reason why the Rangers went anywhere close this year? Gaborik.
