I am so pumped for dinner tonight. Every Wednesday my buddy and I go to this small pizza place in Rochester (Gates). One guy who makes the best food I’ve ever had runs it. Today we're getting one of his pizza creations called "The Boss". He named it after George Steinbrenner and it consists of boss sauce, steak, caramelized onions, grilled red peppers, and mozzarella cheese. We're going to get some of his "Stiggy Steamers" wings covered in his "Bee Sauce" for a side. They are delicious.

Here's an article...well half an article that my paper did on him:http://www.democratandchronicle.com/article/20100131/NEWS05/1310309/1003/news01

One of my favorites is his "Curly Bomber". It's half steak, half hamburger topped with peppers and onions, mozzarella cheese, "stiggy sauce"-which is sweet, and curly fries on a homemade roll.

Here's one that I got. He always does a good job with presentation of his food.

I'll try and take a picture of what I get tonight. After thinking about it today I might try his sasague, egg, red pepper, onion, and cheese sandwhich with homemade waffles for buns.

I'm not a huge fan of their wings. They're OK, but nothing spectacular.

Buffalo Wild Wings are pretty sad as compared to the half dozen places I can think of that I go to on a regular basis.

The other night, I took the lady out to Frank's Sunny Italy on Delaware in North Buffalo. Yum yum. Their sausage cacciatore was perfect, and Missy raved about their shrimp and fettucine alfredo.

So this is what I ended up getting last night. After much thought, I decided to go with the Waffleapalous. I got sausage, bacon, grilled peppers and onions, four sunny side up eggs, american cheese, and REAL maple syrup on a homemade waffle. It was great. I haven't eaten something that messy in a long time but it was so worth it. The syrup brought everything together perfectly. I finished it off with a couple of the Stiggy Steamer wings in Bee sauce. It was truly an awesome dinner that resulted in a food coma.

I had such an awesome dinner today. Phil, I know you would love to take on one of these.

The ROC Bomber:

Image

One of the most amazing pieces of culinary engineering ever produced.

It consisted of:
-One hamburger
-Two hot dogs sliced down the middle
-Mac salad
-Cheese
-Hot sauce
-Relish
-Ketchup
-Mustard
-Fried tater tots
-Homemade roll baked with butter on top

I couldn't fit it in my mouth. It was 5-6 inches high. I ate half like a regular sandwhich, and tried taking on the second half by cutting it up but I couldn't handle it. I had a nasty migraine and was feeling a bit sick to my stomach (not from the food).

I made beef wellington. The plating wasn't the best (plates were too big), and the pic quality sucks, but you'll get the gist.

A whole lot of really shitty red baron pizza. I could eat a house after hockey. A delicious house.

I had a bowl of cereal at 8:30ish last night. I don't know if that counts as dinner, but the only other thing I'd eaten was two slices of toast during the afternoon. Over the summer I just eat when I'm hungry.
