Breaking news out of Quebec: RDS has just reported Jaro Halak is now RFA property of the St. Louis Blues in exchange for young forward Lars Eller and prospect Ian Schultz.

If they make it happen and sign Halak (they oughta, they only have $28M committed to next season), they'll have a great young starter and a dependable veteran back-up (Conklin).

Stupid, stupid, stupid. It's already been stated Price can be good, but he is not the "get on my back" goalie that Halak is. Maybe we can do a Connolly for Cammelleri switcheroo while Gauthier is in Glenn Sather mode.
