Why is she so pissed off at the paparazzi taking her picture and giving her attention at the game? She shows up with no pants on (as usual), with her tits hanging out and sits right behind the dugout...and she's going to be upset when the photographers focus their attention on her rather than on the game? Oh.

Lady Gaga is fun and all...but she has gotten annoying. The fact that she ALWAYS has to be in costume just comes off as pompous. And the fact that people are trying to make her into this musical genious all because of her outlandish costumes is a little bit silly to me. I don't care how bizarre you look, if you're a musician, shouldn't...you know, the music come first? I don't see her as original...she's just a pop star. Nothing more, nothing less.

The only way what Lady Gaga is doing could be considered any kind of performance art, or art at all, is if Stefani has plotted out her own demise, or at least the demise of the character Lady Gaga, as a commentary on celebrity, and she's beginning the downward spiral right now.

Honestly I think she should have just let Lady Gaga be a stage character and perhaps who she is in interviews, nothing more. Keep the real Stefani ridiculously private and don't let the public know anything, but also keep Lady Gaga as purely who she is on stage and in her albums and, yeah, probably interviews. Make it clear that it's just a character, but don't let anyone know who you are, either. That would have been so much better and would have kept the public captivated a bit longer than they actually were (which was pretty much less than a year lol; however if her goal is what was stated above, then it is her plan to get the public to hate her, so this is good... I don't think she's doing that, though).

Caro, I don't think she's much of a genius for her music - hell, six year olds with Casio keyboards from the 80's could make more complex and evocative music. I think she's a genius because I honestly think this is some sort of incredible plan of hers. I don't know to what end, but I really think she's in complete control of all this craziness. Like Jael, I hope it's some sort of commentary on celebrity, because some of her songs definitely indicate that kind of evolution.

I've been keeping my eye on her ever since she started showing a sort of shift in the direction of her music and presentation. I did before, but it was out of annoyance for her pretension; now I think, though, that it is all just an act. I don't think she's going to kill off Gaga, not entirely, but I would love to see her pull all of it off... and then just be Stefani and perform as herself, just her with her piano, because she is a legitimately good musician and excellent performer when she's stripped down like that. lol I still don't care for her shtick that much on its own because everything about her is unoriginal, but if she's doing what it looks like she could be doing, well, that's just cool, and it's not something that's been done before.

Time will tell.

Edit:
Actually, if she is doing what she could be doing, it would be better if she absconds to some remote location and live out the rest of her life in obscurity rather than continuing to be a performer as herself. That would seal the deal. She's just interesting right now because as it is now she's either a genius or just another pompous celebrity, with no room for middle ground. I like that the public is starting to dislike her, though. If she's a genius, it's part of the plan, exactly what she wants, and if not, then I'm not exactly upset she's losing favor ahaha.
