I take Crosby in a second. He's a very talented player. I do think his whining has toned down quite a bit over the years, but it's still around. Probably due to the fact that he was anointed the savior of Canada, Pittsburgh, and the NHL all at the same time. :)

Right, and I'm sure Bertuzzi went to get Moore a pillow to soften the blow?

The whole situation is a cluster-fuck for sure, but Moore had retribution coming for attacking Naslund with a blatant elbow aimed for the head. Bertuzzi came in with vigilante justice and gave him a dirty suckerpunch, for sure, but the punch isn't even what injured Moore.

And besides, Moore is physically fine now.

Okay, so how is what Crosby did the same thing, like that announcer suggested it was? Was the victim even injured at all?

Who else's heart was beating super fast when they started talking about the Vezina trophy? To be honest, I was starting to have doubts (not that he should win it, but that he would somehow be snubbed out of it) I was already looking for the look of dissapointment on his face with the fake smile to shake hands with Bryzy...But then I heard East Lansing, and I jumped for joy!! lol
Congratulations Ryan!
Well deserved!

I don't think it's even remotely similar.

Gotta love how Miller gave US the fans a shout out. Shows you that the appreciation we show him on the ice isn't overlooked.

Did any other player give their fans a shout out?

Not me lalime still sucks even if miller says he doesn't

Oh I think the guy sucks. Just interesting

It is interesting to hear him say that but it won't make me rethink my views on Lalime

NO BACKUP who plays as little as Miller's backup will play (Miller wants to play 70+ games per season), is going to be stellar when only playing once every 3 weeks.

Lalime wasn't bad after getting a few under his belt. Same is true for many backups.

My mom was commenting on that Myers didn't give a shout out to the fans of Buffalo, but I don't think anybody did besides Miller and Keith..

I can't believe you'd defend Bertuzzi in any way for that. It was as dirty and classless as they come, and it DID cause the injury because it's pretty hard to brace yourself for an impact when you get hit from behind.

It's called putting your hands up to brace your impact.

And what's more classless - a sucker punch from behind or elbowing someone in the head with intent to injure? Both are at fault and neither is innocent here. I'm not defending Bertuzzi, but it pisses me off to no end that people will just heap all the blame on him when Moore is equally culpable for the escalation of these events.

Just for the record, Nazzy put himself in a vulnerable position. Not defending anyone I just want that to be known.

Anybody know the final vote tally for the Hart? I'd be interested to see where Miller fit in...
