Yeah, I caught those stories at lunch. More reputable speculation says that's why Apple made that silly 'bumper' case available, because they knew about this.

I definitely LOLed though. I like the idea of what they did with the strip being the antenna, but HOW did they not anticipate that SOMEONE WOULD HOLD THE PHONE WITH THEIR HANDS?

They'll end up giving everyone a free case out of the deal most likely, and start bundling the case with the phone packages soon, similar to how Nintendo handled the case for the Wiimotes.

And Steve will make sure someone gets fired for this. :)

I got a new iPod touch that is a third generation because my other iPod touch 2nd generation deciding to stop playing music through my head phone and the new operating system is pretty dam good. Multi-tasking is good but not all the apps have been updated to incorporate backgroundilng the apps.

Reading some of the comments; one guy was fed a line of "there was an earlier batch of phones that made it through shipment"....

I wonder. Maybe all their testers were right handed? IDK; I have never held a phone so that I would be making contact with both of those parts, but it doesn't mean it wouldn't annoy the shit out of me knowing the flaw existed.

I wish I never got a blackberry last July I fucking hate that phone, the stupid piece of shit always looks for service and kill the battery plus there is no space on it to download apps. So if i was you and you need a new phone stay away from Blackberry.

It could be but it looks for service even when I have full bars. It also could be the type of BB I have. Don't get me wrong I loved it when it came out but lately I have wanted beat the shit out it with a bat.

You don't like your phone killing its battery searching for service and you're hating on BB??

My BB tour on verizon will last for days, it came with a 4Gb memory card and I've never had reception issues...which would be more a product of your network rather than your handset anyhoo.
