Wait until he gets a little stronger...he'll dominate. I liked how he is willing to jump up offensively...nice speed, great instincts, and uncanny poise.

That is all.

He's surprisingly limber, too. I thought he looked really good out there tonight. Few mistakes, but for an nhl debut, I was impressed.

Smart player. Always has his eyes up, takes and keeps the puck AWAY from opponents (Imagine that!), no dumb passes in front of Miller, no dumb turnovers, he's 6' 8", getting bigger and better...Yeah, me thinks he's an improvement on our current state of affairs.

I gotta admit, I thought he looked like he's been in the league a few years. He jumped into the corners on a few rushes, had some great hits, etc....
I actually was not down with how the team played, Price just became a wall.
I mean, we outshot them 44 to 16. SIXTEEN!!
Montreal was not impressive.

He made so many smart decisions, has great instincts, always knew where his partner or teammate was, and showed surprising speed. I knew he belonged, but he looked better last night than he did all preseason.

only thing is Rivet needs to go over and talk to myers and say until you hit back the other teams are going to pick on you. it looked like every time montreal could they'd take a shot at myers.

Pretty much.

This is all so premature. I don't even care. My gut's usually not wrong.

Pros from Myers' debut:
- Skates with authority
- Makes great decisions
- Has fantastic instincts
- Shows plenty of offensive upside
- Takes no shit from crease crashing opposing players

Cons from Myers' debut:
- Still needs to grow into his body
- Punches funny, mainly because he's never really fought
- Still a little wobbly

Random note:
- Get rid of that number, and get your 3 back!

+1 to this thread. The kid was a god damn beast on the ice! Glad I got to see him in his first NHL game at my first ever Sabres game at HSBC.

He made some really good decisions with the puck and knows where to stand infront of the net when he doesn't have the puck. Still looks a bit lanky out there, but he's still just a green horn. A few battles in the kitchen and in the corners will change that. Management can't judge him on his first 10 games though. This kid needs as much in game action as he can get. He is ready as any kind making the lineup and staying with the big club this year.

Lindy, do yourself, the team, the fans and Tyler a favor. Keep this kid around!

Darcy... your job is to listen to what smart people around you, tell you. Keep the kid!!!
