Kevin Sundher, nice pick...some character issues, but 5'11 192 plays a very similar game to Kaleta. Physical game, and the kid has tremendous physical fitness

how is 5'11 192, that plays a nasty physical game, undersized?

Would you rather have a dip shit like evgeny artyukhin? That guy can barely skate, atleast Sundhur can play hockey

Calm down bud. I was responding to your comment to the undersized pick we didn't choose.

Really Darcy? Now I question your drafting sir...especially with Jordan Weal falling into your lap. Who cares if he's undersized; Weal was the right pick for us there.

Matt MacKenzie, 6'1 191 WHL Defensiveman

Ok Darcy apparently plans on rolling over our entire defensive core in the next 3-5 years I guess

Wow I don't know who Darcy thinks is gonna score goals? This team has hardly any offensive prospects in the system! Are you kidding me WTF.

To be honest, there's not a whole lot of scoring available in this draft. A lot of grinders, and a lot of solid defenders in the draft.

I guess Darcy thinks Ennis, Kassian and Adam are going to carry the sabres future in offense. Wow what a fucking joke. I like all 3 but come on this team has no great offensive prospects coming besides them. And I don't think Kassian will put up great offensive numbers he will be the physical force the little guys need to make stuff happen.

Legacy had a good year in the Q, and Tropp is showing some promise too...I agree we need more than that to come in, but dont forget, we do have a lot of young forwards on our roster. Roy, Vanek, Stafford, Pommers, Kennedy, Gerbe, Ennis, and Kaleta are all under 30 still. No huge rush to go out and grab tons of "skill" players

Well I guess we just all figured out what Buffalo's system is all about. Draft more D-man, Have Small Forwards with skill, a handful of grinders and a good goalie and hope you win all your games 1-0 or 2-1. That's just a wonderful system.

Steven Shipley
Center
Born Apr 22 1992 -- Ilderton, ONT
Height 6.02 -- Weight 200 -- Shoots L

2008-09 Owen Sound Attack OHL 63 16 23 39 19 4 0 0 0 0
2009-10 Owen Sound Attack OHL 68 23 40 63 32 -- -- -- -- --

Decent stats. A lot of our 3rd/4th rounders from the last couple of years have developed quite well, so hopefully Shipley and/or Sundher turn out...

Yes very decent stats offensively but he was probably on a real bad team or he's real bad in his own end. He was a -18 and a -22 in both years.

Yes, the entire path of the organization for the next five years has been decided by the first several 2010 draft picks. It's set in stone now, nothing else will be done...no trades, no FA signings, and probably not any more draft picks until 2016.

Get a grip.

He was a productive player on a bad team. Hopefully he can take a big step next season
