Yeah, the 3.5l. I know, I know, I wanted the 5.7, but I just can't justify how bad the gas mileage is with how far I drive.

I know Chrysler is coming out with a ZF eight-speed automatic for their new models. I've heard that they're throwing that in the Challenger SRT-8, and I'm interested in seeing how much it will improve gas mileage.

No, that's Chrysler's Multi-Displacement System.

The ZF eight-speed automatic is the new transmission that they will be using in a lot of their new models.

So I've found out that this car as a 2000lb towing capacity. Cool. Something else that I found a bit interesting though was this:

2.7l V6 - 190hp
3.5l V6 - 250hp
5.7l V8 - 340hp

2 extra cylinders, 1.8 extra litres of displacement, and they only get an extra 90hp?

Nice car. Needs wheels, sooooon.

Shame on you for making a decision based on gas mileage, though. Although that sure is a peppy 6 anyways. Those other 90 hp sure would have felt good. Would have put the car over the top.

Believe me; I weighed the HP wants and needs; I could have gotten away with the 2.7, but wasn't willing to make that concession.

I'm not putting 24" chrome rims on it; I like keeping it as tasteful as possible. The only possible changes I'll do are a new hood (w/ hood scoop) and if I do tires, they definitely won't be shiny.

I haven't looked much into what performance mods are available for this car; I don't have huge HP dreams. It looks and sounds nice, and is very comfortable. It has plenty of space without being a minivan or SUV, and it has a 2000lb towing capacity, if I ever feel that froggy.
