So, how many of you guys have actually watched this guy (or any of our new drafts) actually play?

I've watched Etem a bit due to my fandom of Medicine Hat after Ennis' selection in '08.

I've seen the guys from the W play a couple of times.(Pysyk, Sundher, Mackenzie). I've seen Sundher the most and he's a good player but needs to put on some pounds and play more consistently. He has the potential to be a secondary scoring centerman but its up to him if he can make it obviously. But he's a kid who definitely has the skill set and tools to make it.

Help me out with Sundher. I've heard several things about him.

Some folks say he plays a Mike Richards type game, others say he plays more like a Steve Downie or Patrick Kaleta.

Everybody says he's physical, and loves to get dirty, but what can we expect skill set wise from him? That of an aggitator, or a grinder?

From what I've seen and heard, we ought to expect a grinder/scorer skillset.

How do you say Mark Pysyk's last name by the way?

He's got a nice skill set. Decent hands, good skater. Mike Richards would be a stretch and I think he can be better than Downie. Maybe like a poor man's Kesler could be a comparison.

Well that is a steal then. I was very happy with the pick at the time. The people I know, had said he's a lot like Kaleta; but then I read things that made me think he was a different type player, like a Downie, or Richards.

Everything I've head said he's got the tools to score, but he loves physical contact.

Either way, should be a very solid choice for us in a few years.

Hey, does anyone have a list of these draft picks with a small synopsis of their play? I looked at sabresprospects.com but couldn't find anything. Can't really find much on some of the later round picks, Id be interested to hear about their style of play, but Im completely lost as to where to find it.

PP QB's dont have to score goals, they just have to have the hands and the vision to make good interior passes...this kid has that.

Plus he's shown he's both offensively and defensively responsible. He's going to become a poor man's Shae Weber...I'll bet the deed to my house on it.

I think Duncan Keith is the better comparable for Pysyk's absolute upside than Weber.

Pysyk doesn't have Weber's shot or physical style and is a much better skater.

Brian Campbell & Henrik Tallinder are other names that Pysyk has been compared to as well.

I think McNabb-Pysyk could be a solid #2 pairing behing TBD-Myers in 5 years.

McNabb is looking like he could turn into quite a steal being picked in the mid 60's last season. He was a first team all-star in the WHL and put up some impressive numbers. His size is something to be excited about too at 6'4" and 210lbs with plenty of room to grow. But, although I like the idea of McNabb and-Pysyk as a possible #2 combo in a few years....I think Weber is still a very strong prospect at this point and Im wondering why nobody ever mentions the guy anymore?

What alot of people aren't talking about is that McNabb, Psysk and GAUTHIER-LEDUC are all invited to Canada's National Camp for World Junior's. It would be great if one or all three could make the World Junior team that way we can get a good idea of what we have coming in the future.
Now on to Weber alot of people aren't talking about him because when he was given a brief stint a season ago and he looked pretty darn good and instead of coming to training camp and earning that spot it looked like he took a step back. He's a physical defenseman which is exactly what this team needs I just hope him being down in Portland all season has woke him up about working hard all season and during the offseason to maybe earn that spot this coming training camp.

That would mean that he's good at shutting down 14 year old girls too.
