Having lived in Germany for 4 years spanning from before the War in Iraq started to a couple years after I know first hand that this was a common feeling among Europeans. They literally felt we had gone from being the "Saviors of Europe" to "The World's Bully". Having said that though the reason for the Olympics not being in America is not because of any President. Jesse Jackson is always spouting off some anti this or that, blaming someone or something. The rational countries outside of America embraced Obama and realized that our government's policies are not the policies of every American and blaming the average citizen for a war or nuclear position is silly at best. That negative sentiment that bruised our reputation around the world is slowly healing and I hardly think that something like the Olympics which has been hosted in countries filled to brim with controversy before would be kept from our hands because of it.

I agree with whatever Obama and his representatives say. Don't laugh...I have a family to worry about and if sucking up to absolute power will keep my clan off his blacklist I'll shine the dude's shoes!!

look, bush isnt at fault for chicagos loss of the games. yes, bush certainly had a trying time in office, and yes, he was part of the reason the world has a poor view of the US right now. hes not the only reason. and if you believe thats the reason why chicago lost the games, well. thats just silly.

Wut. I don't even. I can't believe they allowed that to be printed, but then again, I can, because the media haven't turned on the current president yet, so they still have to blame the prior one. I'm waiting for it; they're juuuust about due to start. I'll give them another 3-4 months before they start crucifying him. Build them up to tear them down... The men don't change, and nothing they do changes, but the way in which their actions are reported does... Play games with the way the population thinks.

Obama's doing everything he said he would do, though (unfortunately haha; I do not exactly agree with him on... anything). As soon as he falters, they will be on him, though. Sadly. And if he never does, they will act as though he did. Simple.

I blame Bush for the fact that I don't get enough sleep as a college student.

The Bush detesters I come in contact with are all self-professed baby-boomer hippies.

They're bitter because Bush "stole" the election from their dope Gore.

They are victims. Being "wronged" reminds them of their rebellious youth, when they first became bitter and angry and malcontent, and they love reliving that.

Yup, the whole world is a victim of US aggression, Obama is the victim of bully Bush. Everyone is a victim. It never will end, because victims like it that way.

Virtually every single one of these people I know portrays themselves to be thoughtful, giving, "tolerant" (stoopid word); however, their actions and speech often exhibit intense hatred, inconsistent with what they say they believe.
