yep... but would you have been happy is Darcy matched either of those deal? i probably would have been ok with him matching one of 'em... because now he will probably have to spend more to get someone of equal or greater value in here...

I wanted Hank to return with Myers, especially at the same price(why split up your top pairing). Was ok with Lydman leaving.

IMHO, Tallinder was benefited by Myers, and Myers is okay with any decent D man.

I honestly think we needed to keep either Hank or Loods, especially with it looking like we won't pick up someone who is as good or better than them. We had a questionable D before today and it's looking worse and worse now.

Foster to Edm for two years at 1.8 mil per.

I would have been happy if Foster signed with Buffalo at that number. I would hope that Buffalo would be a better option than Edmonton. I wonder if Regier is putting all efforts toward Kubina.

Why is it I have this image of that scene from Beerfest where the Germans are shouting "WE ARE LAUGHING AT YOU, YA!" when i think of the rest of the league talking with Darcy?

I hope your opinion is correct. It will certainly take some amount of time to develop some chemistry though. Let's hope Myers wasn't benefiting from Tallinder, or we'll be sick.
