Tell me about it I feel the same way but all I ever hear is from people on hear bitching and complaining because I hate Regier. Bottom line I can't stand the guy ever since Drury, Briere and Vanek situation. It should have never came down like that. vanek was a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. in the end i'm happy matched the offer sheet, but there was no reason for him to not be locked up before that ..

This organization just seems to be run the wrong way and wasn't it not to long ago even Rene Robert was getting pissed about it.

Vanek's agent at the time said he was going to go the offer sheet route anyway so its not like we could have gotten that deal done earlier. And who says that Edmonton would have finished in last if the Sabres didn't match the offer sheet...And if their entire team didn't get injured this season?

well then to be honest i don't remember his agent saying that. but as far as Edmonton being bottom last you never know what would have happened if vanek WAS on that team, thus the "almost, maybe, potentially"

All I said is that it's frustrating to have some bloated contracts on our books for underperformers and that we in the past have payed out the nose because we ran out of options. Don't know who is ultimately responsible but it blows either way.

It's funny that people seem to give me shit for saying what I think about Regier but go onto wgr550 or buffalonews.com and see what people have to say about his signing or not doing much. People are just plain sick of him running the team. Do I think he's the worst GM out there. No, not at all but it seems like instead of taking this team forward he moves laterally or backwards.

Have you READ most of the remarks on WGR or TBN's website? I wouldn't say that most of those folks have much of a clue what they're talking about.

Come on Squanto the shit he dishes out to us already is stale. Do I think he's the worst GM no I don't I think Sutter takes the boat in that.

its not just him though, its our whole organization at this point. our owner is one of the richest men in the country, but isn't too willing to spend on his team.

larry quinn is just kind of a joke, he was after all the man behind the slug logo.

and as much as i respect lindy ruff and think he is a good coach, he falls too in love with certain players, and has a hard time letting guys out of the dog house once they've gone into it.
