I would trade the FUCK out of some SImon Gagne. Aint no man gonna shoot like like that man gonna shoot! He's got some made skillz, and he aint gonna fail to get power play goals up in this motha ucka. He can't stay healthy to save his life (what??) and he's gonna cost something good and young.

Actually, he's played at least sixty games in the last 10 years minus his fluke years of 23 and 45 games (I think that's what the numbers were - I posted the figures on the previous page but I'm too lazy to go look right now hahaha).

gerbe will be one of those forwards too good for the third line, and not good enough for the second. the problem is, you want more grit on your third line, and no matter how tenacious he is, hes simply too small to be gritty.

I'd take 3 scoring lines and 1 grit line any day.

Remember when Roy was a third line center? Damn...

roy also is alot more talented then gerbe. there was never the question mark about roy.

With Vanek showing his effectiveness from RW, I'd love if Darcy pulled off a trade to give us Gagne/Roy/Vanek as our top line.

The only thing in question about Gerbe is his size.

And small guys hate being told that.

size is size, yeah, i dont think his size will render him being unable to play NHL hockey, but on the third line? no. i just dont think he has the talent roy did, and being 5 inches shorter.. thats a huge difference. i dunno, i think with ennis already proving hes a future (if not current) top 6, the sabres would be smart to move a question mark in a deal that improves the team.

i mean, hes 23 this season, thats when you enter your peak as a forward. his skill is what it is, hes not going to suddenly get a better shot, or become faster, or whatever. his skill is what it is, and its up to him to see if hes developed or not.

I don't agree with that assessment. There is no general rule for peaking. You need to learn the NHL through experience.

He played very well for us during the playoffs with little NHL experience at all.

He's got plenty of speed, control, and shiftiness. He does a great job of catching goaltenders off guard with his shot.

He just needs to learn the game at this level some more before he starts scoring regularly.

He'll be a fine 2nd line wing.

I would love to have Gagne on the team but do you really believe dumb and dumber are going to make a trade for a player like that. I highly doubt it. So keep dreaming. It's promote the young guys from Portland and rely on 2nd or 3rd tier signing of free agents.

I hope to god Darcy makes a major move this off-season. And the worst part is, I hope it happens more so I don't have to come in here and read your incessant whining on a daily basis than any benefit it will have on the team. That is how bad you've gotten with this played out, childish, whaaaaaaa! rant you bring in here all the time. Unless you can bring something of a suggestion/ a plausible alternative to what Darcy is gonna do....you should just post "BillsSabresFan" instead of wasting your time typing out WHAT WE ALL KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO SAY!

Face it buddy most people and myself included know that this team needs to make a move or two. It would be nice to see it before the season or very early into the season that way Lindy has to see what line the guy could gel on. I feel sorry for Lindy because he's an excellent coach and I'm sure he would like to have some talented players added to this current core. It would be nice to see Darcy give lindy some tools to see what he can do. He's been coaching alot of mediocre talent for how long now.

The problem is, we ALL know this and we ALL agree Darcy doesn't do much to change it and probably won't alter his strategy going forward. But, coming in here and having to hear your constant bitching about it doesn't help anyone or anything. It makes you sound like a petulant child and its fucking irritating as hell.

Why does anyone feel bad at all for Lindy?

He and Darcy plan this stuff together.

Roy isn't 5'11 he's 5'9 only 3 inches taller than Gerbe, Kennedy is 5'11.

Gerbe is a warrior, I'd say he does have the skill to be on the second line, he improved from 1 point in 10 games to 5 in 10 last year. He's determined, but if a package comes up with him, then ship him out for something better.

Now SabresBillsFan, imagine if I kept posting that same thing for another one or two months and you might get the idea of how farking irritating it is to have you posting here.
