The NWS has never recorded a temperature over 100 (at the airport, I believe, where the official measurement is taken). That serves for the official temperature for the area, so no, Buffalo has never reached 100.

However, some other areas (especially further from the lake) have measured over 100 (from the news channels, like channel 4's probes they put at schools, etc). However, that's not an official NWS reading, thus it doesn't really count.

And I doubt it was 2009...we haven't officially reached 90 since September of 2007. I don't remember any days last year that were in the mid-to-upper 90's. Heck, we didn't even have many in the mid-to-upper 80's.

Well then it didn't count.

That has daily record highs and lows of any city you'd want.

We last set records in 2007 in August when it was ridiculously hot and I remember those days. Today was a nice warm day, around 95 all day. After living here for almost 6 years the heat isn't all that bad anymore, but if it gets to 20 it's pretty cold. I don't think I could take a winter up north again. I'm a pussy now.

I also looked and the coldest it's ever been in Raleigh was -6.

It's like this; I'm friends with everyone, and I'm a nice guy. I respect women for the most part, and I'm pretty good to the ones I take out. I don't believe for a minute I have my standards on looks too high, maybe my moral standards are a bit high, but hey; you also dont go out and buy a rusty GMC when looking for a new truck either.

I guess my whole bitch session would have to revolve around; I dont think my standards are that horrific, it's just that most of what's available in and around my area is on par with a rusty truck, and I dont want to sleep with a rusty truck, Tetanus is gross.
