What are the odds this Russian site is accurate?

A few days ago another Russian site said that Zherdev was in talks with the Sabres & Leafs and Toronto quickly squashed the rumor.

Once Dreger or LeBrun or someone of that ilk has Zherdev anywhere, then I'll believe it.

The Sabres do not need Zherdev.

His production last year with Atlant was on par with Jiri Novotny & Jan Bulis.

Add in his 0-fer in the one playoff series he played in with the Rangers and I don't see Zherdev being the playoff offensive spark that the Sabres could use.
