After Chicago signed Boozer i think LBJ might change his mind about the Heat. The Bulls are getting solid talent to their roster now. The Heat i swear just don't know how to play basketball.

boozer cant compare to one bosh OR wade. if lebron went to the bulls, they, too, are solid team. but i dont think they would be as good as the heat.

the thing that you have to remember is that the Bulls already have Rose, who is a great player in his own right. couple James, Boozer and Rose with the supporting cast that the bulls have. id give the edge to the Bulls.

the thing that you have to remember is that no NHL player is nearly as big in the public eye as James is.

really, no one in any sport can really compare to him when it comes to the attention he gets. the next closest player that i can think of would be Kobe Bryant and i still think that James would out draw him. Even someone who doenst follow basketball (like me) knows who LaBron James is and knows that wherever he goes its going to shift the dynamics of the NBA.

highschool football players do this all the time when the choose what college they go to, especially in like texas, where highschool football IS life. it may not be to this scale, but it happens in alot of sports.

it is what it is. espn.com has a major interest in the NBA, and james is lebron james. he is enormous. it doesnt encapsulate him, and i think its cool that all the cash goes to charity. i dont think its him being an egomaniac (he is quite reserved i hear)... its just hes the best of the best. and his move could end the cleveland cavaliers franchise if he leaves. it really could.

The only comparison I can think of is Peyton Manning a few years ago. He was THE BIGGEST sports celebrity in North America at the time. Now it's LeBron James' turn.

cleveland fans are burning his jersey. i dont recall mariners fans burning griffey jerseys when he left for Cincinnati. or buffalo fans burning dominik hasek jerseys when he left for detroit.

bad move.

What a fucking douchebag.

And Mike, this is different. He's considered the home-town boy. He grew up, learned ball, played on the municipal courts, went to high school, dropped out of high school, became a Cavalier, talked big about his love for the city and team, started all his charity work, had a team built around him...and then flipped his city the bird for an hour on national television. He's officially the most hated man in Cleveland because he broke an entire cities heart after jerking them around like an on-again, off-again lover.
