Good thing he was only extended a one year extension.

Dicky DoLittle got a 3 YEAR extension, running through the end of the 2011 season.

He clearly wasn't fired after last season's EPIC collapse because Ralphy didn't want to eat a $9M payout to a coach he just extended. It's also unlikely that he'll be fired in season this year for the same reason.

He MIGHT get the hook after this year since it would only cost $6M. Maybe that cheap old coot could spend some of that Toronto money and hire Chucky, Cowher, or God forbid a REAL GM.

My bad, I thought he only got a one year one.

Read something wrong then.

Bill Cowher turned down 5 million a year to coach NC State, which is only minutes from his house.

No amount of money would lure Cowher to coach Buffalo if he didn't accept 5 Million from state, and that would have been more than what he was making in Pittsburgh.

I think Cowher would come here for $5m per IF he wants to coach again, AND he got full GM control. That's unlikely, since Ralph is cheap, and after giving Donahoe all that power, he feels burned and won't do it again.

I don't want Cowher anyways. His record in big games is almost like Schottenheimers. The only reason he won that Super Bowl was because of the officiating, and it had to happen sooner or later.

Grab Schottenheimer or Shanahan, they're due.

...Shanahan or Gruden. Either, or.

On a bad day, any one of these guys is still better than Wade Philips, Gregg Williams, Mike Mularkey and Dick Jauron, combined.

Expect us to "promote from within". Van Pelt or Studesville are likely next in line to carry the water for the dismal losing seasons yet to come.

How about Chuck Lester; assistant to Head Coach/Special Projects. I bet Wilson could get him at HC for $150k.

Hell, Wilson could get me for even cheaper - And I'd make sure they won a couple of fucking games, even.

It sucks when the senile owner is the ultimate guy that's gotta go.
(I know . . . I have such a firm grasp of the obvious.)

So, while uncle Ralphy is around, there will be an endless line of yes-people and mediocrity.

And then, when he's no longer with us, we'll be the Toronto Bills, ay?

The amount he'd have to pay out in fines at your rum and coke press conferences would be astronomical, though. Plus, he may not enjoy being told to go fuck himself on a regular basis.
