My biggest thing about him is, he's not worth 10 million. How does a player sore 40+ goals and 100 points and still be a minus player?

Also there is a reason he can't play the PK also. And for 10 million I'd much prefer a player who will play 20+ minutes a night and play the PK.

He needs to really see if he want to win a Stanley Cup or just make money. He won't get 100 million over 10 years from anyone, and the Kings GM knows if Kovalchuk might want to win, he will meet the Kings demands.
