And I'm saying regardless of her being a bad wife/person, Mel Gibson was probably like this well before he met this woman... and i said initially hes gone nuts. i agree, the dudes fucked up. HOWEVER, im not going to say she was a saint and didnt cause some of this. she sounds ridiculously high maintenance and tough to please. no, he shouldnt say those things, and hit her and everything. i dont agree with that.

that being said, i wonder about those tapes. i have no doubt thats his voice on the other line, but her voice is so clear and clean. almost as if it was re-done in a sound stage.

I remember reading something about a week ago (but I cannot for the life of me remember what site it was), but he's unleashed some pretty gnarly remarks about blacks, Jews, gays, and other groups (for lack of a better word) in scattered interviews over the years.

But like I said, a lot of that I think comes from his upbringing. His dad is hateful and bigoted, and has said things that Mel's current levels of crazy can't even aspire to.
