Civil service? You need people to work on government projects? Take all the guys in jail for not paying child support, for being too far in debt, or other ridiculously sentenced individuals.

I agree. I've always felt that way. Why should the rest of us work our asses off and pay taxes to house reprobates when they could be contributing in a productive way to society? That would be more of a rehabilitation than sitting on their asses with free room and board (albeit in jail) at our expense?
