So, if it wasn't stashed by privacy settings, it's public now? Hah I'm all good then. But seriously, FB, not cool.

What are you counting as 'private' data? I dont feel like i've actually given facebook any data I consider private...

'Private' data on FB is anything stashed behind the newer privacy settings. But, yea, I haven't given out anything on FB either. Phone number and address? Can't get leaked if it's not on there hah.

My phone number is on there, but it's just a number anyways.

I had it stashed behind privacy settings since forever that only friends could see it. My address shouldn't be on there, I took that off awhile ago.

If it's on the internet somewhere, it's not private.

Oh well, I don't care haha.

If I don't know the number and they text me I always ask who are you, if they call and say the wrong name it's the wrong number then.

OH NO MY SKYPE WILL GET OUT THERE

Yeah, whatever. :P

What I would categorize as legitimately creepy is the Foursquare app that's on there. A few of my friends on there use it, and.... um. Anybody could always find out where they are. Why would you ever.

It seems the big flaw that exposed this is just how their privacy controls are set up.

You are only as secure as your Facebook friends security settings and don't bother trying to make yourself non-searchable now...your name is probably already out there ;)

yea

my privacy was as high as it gets, and the new security features make me to be able to be searched and added by anyone
