Isn't played out until people stop misspelling the names.

'Wah' is the correct pronunciation. However, since so many people pronounced it as 'Roy' over the years, he gave up correcting them.

He plays in America, it's ROY and not WAH, if he wants to WAH he can go WAH over something else.

So, apparently, Patrick Roy escaped this scrutiny of yours.

It's Jennaret's fault.

It's Jennaret's fault.

Spacek's name being mispronounced was also his fault.

Patty Roy played for Montreal first and not in an American city first.

If you have a weird way to pronounce your name in Canada, you have the American way if you're a Candian if you played in America first, AKA an American team.

I thought you were being sarcastic, now I know you're being a shithead. Why should they be forced to pronounce their names differently when playing in America? Don't be an idiot.

You might be right about that. I think I remember hearing him in an interview somewhere say his name isn't to be confused with Roy's, cuz his is pronounced "Roy" and the other is pronounced "Wah".

Jeanneret said something about that too, I think.

It's not luh-GAY-see, it's le-GAH-see.

And I thought Fetisov was pronounced feh-ti-sov
